The Digital Imaging Technician sits between the camera and post production. On set, a DIT manages real-time color monitoring, applies live LUTs to guarantee the director and DP see exactly the image they intend, and ensures every frame is recorded, offloaded, and verified before wrap.

Data management is non-negotiable. Every card is offloaded with multi-pass checksum verification and backed up to redundant RAID drives. Nothing leaves set without confirmation that the footage is intact and accounted for.

Same-day dailies are prepared with color management baked in — properly graded proxies for editorial, VFX pulls, and client review delivered by the end of each shooting day.
